Delegation from Ulm visited the Competence Centre and local entrepreneurs

Representatives of the City of Ulm, the Ulm Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Ulm), and the Danube Office Ulm visited Centar kompetencija d.o.o. for research and development and met with local entrepreneurs. On this occasion, innovative products and services of local entrepreneurs were presented, opening opportunities for future cooperation and networking with German partners and investors.

The delegation from Ulm was led by:

  • Martin Bendel, First Mayor of the City of Ulm and one of the Directors of the Danube Office
  • Amir Alizadeh, representative of the Ulm Chamber of Industry and Commerce, European Enterprise Network, and Coordinator for the Danube Region in Baden-Württemberg
  • Sebastian Rihm, Director of the Danube Office
  • Andreas Raab, representative of the Danube Office for Danube-Sava Cooperation and Vice President of the Pan-European Union Germany

The meetings were also attended by:

  • Klaudia Oršanić Furlan, Deputy Executive Director, German-Croatian Chamber of Industry and Commerce 
  • Ivan Marijanović, Business Secretary, Croatian Chamber of Economy – Vukovar County Chamber
  • Tomislav Vidović, Multinorm d.o.o.

The following entrepreneurs presented their products and services: LIGNUM CIBALAE, craft for the production of sports equipment, Agro Perfectum d.o.o., Helm d.o.o., LEATHER GARAGE, craft for the production and upholstery of seats, and startup Dalibor Iličić.

The delegation showed particular interest during visits to the production facilities of two local entrepreneurs – LIGNUM CIBALAE and LEATHER GARAGE – where the guests from Ulm had the opportunity to directly learn about the production process, innovative solutions, and the quality of domestic products.

The meeting emphasized the importance of international networking, building the foundations for future business contacts, as well as the exchange of experiences and potential investments. This event also represents an important step in strengthening economic ties between Vukovar-Srijem County and the City of Ulm, the state of Baden-Württemberg, and the Federal Republic of Germany.
