As part of the NbS4Local project, partners gathered in the Belgian city of Tienen (17-18 March 2026) for an interregional pilot meeting. This meeting marked an important milestone \u2013 the completion of the core phase of the project and the official entry into the follow-up phase, which represents the final year of implementation. During the two-day program, the focus was on practical solutions in the Gete Valley, including field visits to the Wissenbos-Wommersom and Het Vinne catchment areas. Special emphasis was placed on innovative crowdfunding campaigns in Flanders, which aim to involve local communities in financing nature-based solutions (NBS). The lessons learned will serve as a basis for improving public policies and developing action plans, but also as an inspiration for all project partners in further implementing sustainable strategies in their own countries.<\/p>\n\n\n
