Where?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n P\u00e9cs, Hungary<\/p>\n\n\n\n Participation in the event is fully covered by the DRWO4.0 project funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Participants will have the opportunity to gain insights into key aspects of the wood industry transformation, with a special focus on establishing virtual Pilot Areas (PA). These areas serve as platforms for cross-sector collaboration and innovation, connecting industry, academia, policymakers, and civil society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Through three key pilot areas \u2013 PA West, PA South (CEKOM), and PA East \u2013 the project will enable the exchange and development of ideas for creating high-value-added products using smart and digital innovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The DRWO4.0 project focuses on the digitalization and sustainability of the wood industry in the Danube region. Its goal is to transform the sector towards Industry 4.0 by creating an innovative, adaptable, and applicable model that simultaneously promotes sustainable practices and new technologies. This approach will help the industry address modernization challenges and enhance competitiveness in the global market while meeting sector-specific needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the end of the event, participants will have the chance to visit an organ factory in P\u00e9cs. This factory serves as a best-practice example of successfully applying innovative approaches in the wood industry, combining tradition and modern technology to produce a unique wooden product. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
