In the Vukovar-Srijem County’s Competence Centre<\/a> in Gradi\u0161te, on 14th<\/sup> September 2022, a thematic workshop “Use of Blockchain Technology in the agri-food sector \u2013 necessities and solutions”<\/strong> was held.<\/p>\n

The workshop was held as part of the project \u201cSupporting Agri food communities and networks in SEE through developing services on digital food quality and traceability using blockchain\u201d<\/strong> funded by SmartAgriHubs<\/a> through Horizon 2020.<\/a><\/p>\n

During the workshop, the participants had the opportunity to learn about blockchain technology and the advantages, necessities, needs and solutions of blockchain technology in the agricultural and food sector.<\/p>\n

The workshop was attended by representatives of the Vukovar-Srijem County<\/a>, Vukovar-Srijem County Development Agency<\/a>, Agricultural business incubator Drenovci<\/a>, Agro-cluster<\/a> and Agrotechnology Centre<\/strong> and project partner Cuspis Ltd.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Project \u201dSupporting Agri-food communities and networks in SEE through developing services on digital food quality and traceability using blockchain\u201d<\/strong> will contribute to digital transition of agri-food sector of South-east Europe with focus of food traceability through blockchain technology.<\/p>\n

Project is implemented by Green Digital Innovation HUB<\/a> (Romania), Tera Tehnopolis<\/a> (Croatia), Smart Village<\/a> (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Hadas Bar<\/a> (Israel), Vukovar-Srijem County’s Competence Centre<\/a> (Croatia) and Cuspis Ltd<\/strong> (Croatia).<\/p>\n

This workshop is the last activity in the implementation of the project, with which we announce the Final Conference in Bucharest, which will be held in a hybrid format.
