Existing blockchain initiatives in Agri-food are focused mainly on traceability in supply chain and invoicing, they do not solve the main problem – quality of the food. Quality of food starts with food production and ends at the point of sale. According to the definition from the Food Act, traceability is the ability to trace food, in our case eggs, avocado, black Slavonian pig and wine through all stages of production, processing and distribution.<\/p>\n
FoodQualiTrace<\/strong> is Web3 blockchain software that is developed for food traceability. FoodQualiTrace will give consumers transparent information about the food they are buying, and producers opportunity to be different from competition and more engaged with consumers.<\/p>\n Each food product is monitored through all stages from the producer, processor, distributor and end point of sale. During all phases, role-specific parameters are measured to ensure food quality and health safety. This information is stored through blockchain technology and cannot be influenced or manipulated.<\/p>\n With scanning the QR code, buyer will have the chance to see all informations about specific food which go trhough all phases.<\/p>\n SmartAgriHubs project is funding implementation of \u201cSupporting Agri food communities and networks in SEE through developing services on digital food quality and traceability using blockchain” which includes project partners Green Digital Innovation HUB (Green eDIH)<\/a> from Romania, Hadas Bar<\/a> from Israel, Smart Village<\/a> from Bosnia and Herzegovina and DIH Tera<\/a>, Competence Centre Ltd<\/a> and CUSPIS<\/strong> from Croatia.<\/p>\n The main goal of project SmartAgriHubs is to digitize European agri food by promoting an agricultural innovation ecosystem dedicated to excellence, sustainability and success.
