We are concluding the challenging 2021 with important results for our entrepreneurs, in accordance with our Strategic Business Plan of Competence Centre Ltd. 2020-2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>2nd<\/sup> study in STEM field launched<\/strong><\/p>\n After signed Agreement and Contract between the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek<\/a>, Vukovar-Srijem County<\/a>, the City of Vinkovci<\/a> and the county Competence Centre<\/a>, in the academic year 2021\/2022, 33 students were enrolled<\/strong> in dislocated pre-graduate professional computer science studies in Vinkovci. The starting of studies was preceded by letters of intent from local companies expressing their need for future computer engineers. The studies are temporarily conducted in the premises of the Ru\u0111er Bo\u0161kovi\u0107 Technical School<\/a>.<\/p>\n In the academic year 2021\/2022, the 2nd<\/sup> generation of wood technology students was enrolled in Vinkovci, which is performed by the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology from Zagreb<\/a> in accordance with the Agreement and Contract with Vukovar-Srijem County<\/a>, the City of Vinkovci<\/a> and the county Competence Centre<\/a>. The entire quota of 40 students<\/strong> was filled for the first time.<\/p>\n Construction and equipping of the innovation infrastructure “Wood-Technology Centre Slavonian Oak”, the strategic project of VSC<\/strong><\/p>\n After the completion of the construction and equipping of the innovation infrastructure within the strategic project of the VSC “Wood-Technology Centre Slavonian Oak”<\/strong>, a valid and executive use permit was obtained. In 2022, we expect the completion of the project – the finalisation of the public procurement procedure for vehicles and completion of training.<\/p>\n Research, development and innovation projects over 46 million HRK contracted for entrepreneurs<\/strong><\/p>\n After the approved research, development and innovation project INOPELET – Development of innovative pellets from forest and\/or agricultural biomass<\/strong>, for Lead partner Bjelin Otok Ltd.<\/strong>, a project co-financing agreement was also signed and the project started in 2021.<\/p>\n From the rest of the contract projects in 2021, which we prepared and applied for tenders, we emphasis the project Strengthening the capacity of the SLAVONIAN OAK Wood Cluster for the popularisation of STEM (Wood4STEM)<\/a> and Find a job in the Wood sector<\/a>, implemented by our SLAVONIAN OAK Wood Cluster<\/a>.<\/p>\n After a successful 2021, we expect an even more successful 2022 year in which we will continue to implement our Strategic Business Plan of the Competence Centre Ltd. 2020-2024.<\/p>\nWe wish our current and future business partners a healthy, happy and successful 2022!<\/em><\/h3>\n
