During the online workshop, it will make it easier for you to meet new partners or investors, and you will have the opportunity to meet and explore new solutions in a sustainable circular bioeconomy in your area.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Theme of first online speed dating workshop is Digitalisation of forest management, inventory and monitoring. You will find out more about <a href=\"https:\/\/kwf2020.kwf-online.de\/portfolio\/iwald\/\">iWald<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/virtualforest2.wordpress.com\/home\/\">Virtual Forest 2.0<\/a> digital tools, that support forest managers\u2019 decision-making as well as communicating what you do to the public and engaging their input.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kwf2020.kwf-online.de\/portfolio\/iwald\/\">iWald<\/a> compare silvicultural treatments and simulate growth processes in the forest on the smartphone. Platform will be presented by <strong>Hubert R\u00f6der<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ue-germany.com\/\">, University of Applied Sciences, Germany<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/virtualforest2.wordpress.com\/home\/\">Virtual Forest 2.0<\/a> enables efficient 3D visualisation of forest stands based on accurate data and forest management options. Improve participatory planning of land use, give guidance to forest owners, help different stakeholder groups understand what their forest will look like in the future.
