In the Vukovar-Srijem County’s Competence Centre in Gradište, on 14th September 2022, a thematic workshop “Use of Blockchain Technology in the agri-food sector – necessities and solutions” was held.
The workshop was held as part of the project “Supporting Agri food communities and networks in SEE through developing services on digital food quality and traceability using blockchain” funded by SmartAgriHubs through Horizon 2020.
During the workshop, the participants had the opportunity to learn about blockchain technology and the advantages, necessities, needs and solutions of blockchain technology in the agricultural and food sector.
The workshop was attended by representatives of the Vukovar-Srijem County, Vukovar-Srijem County Development Agency, Agricultural business incubator Drenovci, Agro-cluster and Agrotechnology Centre and project partner Cuspis Ltd.
Project ”Supporting Agri-food communities and networks in SEE through developing services on digital food quality and traceability using blockchain” will contribute to digital transition of agri-food sector of South-east Europe with focus of food traceability through blockchain technology.
Project is implemented by Green Digital Innovation HUB (Romania), Tera Tehnopolis (Croatia), Smart Village (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Hadas Bar (Israel), Vukovar-Srijem County’s Competence Centre (Croatia) and Cuspis Ltd (Croatia).
This workshop is the last activity in the implementation of the project, with which we announce the Final Conference in Bucharest, which will be held in a hybrid format.
