Wood Driers

Wood drying is carried out in traditional kilns using an evaporation process, where drying is achieved by replacing saturated air with fresh air.

The medium for air heating is hot water from the boiler plant. Water circulation is maintained by circulation pumps located in both the boiler room and the drying chambers.

Heating, air exchange, and humidification are controlled automatically by computer, based on pre-defined drying programs.

The wood drying process is conducted in six chambers, with a total capacity of 390 m3 of sawn timber.

    • 4 chambers with a capacity of up to 75 m3 each, with the following dimensions:
      • Width: 9.0 m
      • Depth: 7.5 m
      • Height: 4.0 m
    • 2 chambers with a capacity of up to 45 m3 each, with the following dimensions:
      • Width: 5.5 m
      • Depth: 7.5 m
      • Height: 4.0 m
