Topic: Supporting agri-food communities and networks in Southeast Europe through the development of digital monitoring and food quality services using blockchain technology.

Project description: The project is a collaboration between 4 Digital Innovation Centers, Competence Centers and companies with strong competencies in the use of blockchain technology. This cooperation will enable the Digital Innovation Centers to offer their stakeholders the same new digital services with the same quality, which will be comprehensible to everyone. This technology can have various applications in the agri-food sector, and the first step is to follow the farm-to-fork strategy.

Main goal: The project will increase the participation of Digital Innovation Centers in Southeast Europe in the digital transformation of the agri-food sector with a focus on monitoring and food quality using blockchain technology.

Budget: 160.543,69 EUR
