From May 6th to 10th 2025, the Fifth General Assembly was held in Tulcea Romania, in framework of Danube Wetlands and flood plains Restoration through systemic, community-engaged and sustainable innovative actions – DaWetRest project.
The aim of the meeting is to present the progess of the DaWetRest project, to discuss implementation risks and challenges, and to include Associated Regions.
Throughout the five-day program, presentations on work packages (analysis of finances and periodic reports, planning of future activities, workshops for associated regions will be held, and for the penultimate day, a field visit to the Danube Delta is planned.
Project DaWetRest unded by the European Commission under the research and innovation programme HORIZON EUROPE. Project duration is 4 years (2023 – 2027). 46 partners from 12 European countries are participating in the project.
