On 7 July 2026, a roundtable discussion entitled "From Idea to Market – Challenges, Experiences and Opportunities for Innovation Development" was held in the Small County Assembly Hall of the Vukovar-Srijem County in Vinkovci. The event was organised by the Competence Centre Ltd. for Research and Development, acting as the Coordinator of the Regional Consortium for Supporting the Development of New Products and Services within the HAMAG-BICRO Acceleration Programme.
The event brought together innovative entrepreneurs, representatives of development institutions, and industry experts to exchange experiences, strengthen collaboration, and discuss the key challenges and opportunities involved in developing and commercialising innovations.
Following the opening remarks, the programme began with introductory presentations on the HAMAG-BICRO Acceleration Programme and the activities of the Regional Consortium for Supporting the Development of New Products and Services. Participants then heard first-hand experiences and examples of good practice from:

During the open discussion, participants explored the role of the Acceleration Programme in fostering innovative entrepreneurship, the journey from idea to market, opportunities for financing further growth and development, and the importance of collaboration, digitalisation, and strengthening the regional innovation ecosystem.
The roundtable once again highlighted the importance of connecting entrepreneurs, development institutions, and the expert community in creating a supportive environment for the development of innovative products and services. By sharing experiences and best practices, participants gained valuable insights, established new professional connections, and identified opportunities for future collaboration and the development of new innovation projects.
