A workshop titled “Application of Advanced Drone Technology in Agriculture” was held at the Competence Centre Ltd. in Gradište. The aim of the workshop was to educate farmers on the potential of drone technology to enhance agricultural practices and increase efficiency in food production.
The workshop was organized as part of the Acceleration Programe implemented by Hamag Bicro and gathered participants from the fields of agriculture, science, and technology. A significant contribution came from expert lectures and real-world examples.
✅ Prof. Ivan Plaščak from the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences presented the possibilities of using drones in precision agriculture, emphasizing soil analysis, crop monitoring, and early detection of diseases and pests.
✅ Representatives from Agro Perfectum, experts in drone applications, showcased innovative technologies that enable:
- Precise monitoring of crop health,,
- Early detection of potential issues in the production process,,
- Optimization of fertilizer and pesticide use, which can reduce costs by 30-70%.
Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in an interactive discussion on integrating drones into everyday agricultural practices. At the end of the workshop, an evaluation was conducted, revealing a strong interest among attendees in further education on this topic.
