The second edition of the FOREST4EU newsletter has been released! This project, funded under the Horizon Europe program, promotes operational groups focused on forestry and agroforestry, with an emphasis on knowledge exchange and the sharing of best practices.
This edition of the FOREST4EU Newsletter provides an overview of the most important activities and events since February 2024, including national workshops and international conferences where the project was showcased. Additionally, in this issue, you can learn more about the latest discussions and contributions from the Policy Focus Groups (PFGs), which have addressed current issues in forestry and agroforestry.
Furthermore, we present new Capacity Building Material (CBM), including technical reports, videos, and articles aimed at expanding innovations and best practices within the sector. These materials cover key topics such as sustainable forest management, the adaptation of forest ecosystems to climate change, and the development of new business models in forestry.
The newsletter also provides an announcement of upcoming activities and events, including study visits and international workshops, which will facilitate further networking among operational groups and the exchange of knowledge and experiences among experts.
