We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Transnational Workshop organized as part of the DRWO4.0 project. The workshop will take place on November 20, 2024, from 11:00 to 13:00 (CET) at the Competence Centre Ltd. in Gradište, Croatia and online.
The workshop’s goal is to facilitate knowledge exchange and share experience gained during the project’s implementation, as well as to advance efforts to integrate Industry 4.0 (I4.0) into the forest-based sector of the Danube region. The focus will be on introducing I4.0 capabilities and exploring opportunities for I4.0 integration based on insights from previous events and stakeholder feedback.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about best practices, methodologies, and approaches that drive digital transformation and the implementation of smart, digital products within the forestry and wood sectors.
Special emphasis will be placed on connecting various disciplines and technologies encompassed by I4.0. This includes the integration of information and communication technologies, mechatronics, the Internet of Things (IoT), augmented reality, simulations, and more into the forestry and wood sectors, with the goal of developing new products and services based on I4.0 technologies.
By attending the workshop, you will gain valuable insights into digital transformation methodologies and contribute to achieving the goals of the DRWO4.0 project.
