On 11 and 12 May 2026, a partner meeting of the FULAR project, funded through the ADRION programme, was held in Tirana. Our representatives participated together with partners from Slovenia, Italy, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Albania. The meeting was hosted by the Albanian Wood Industry Cluster, and during the two-day programme, the project results achieved so far, as well as the activities planned for the upcoming period, were presented.
A special focus of the meeting was placed on establishing criteria for the implementation of the international competition planned in the next phases of the project, as well as on the international workshops that will be organised on various topics.
The competitions, as well as the workshops themselves, will focus on three different areas:
- the use of sustainable and renewable wood raw materials,
- the use of post-industrial wood waste materials, and
- the reuse of worn-out furniture products.
The partners agreed on the next steps in the implementation of the project and on activities related to the dissemination of project results throughout the ADRION region. The next project meeting is planned to take place in Italy, while the launch of the international competition is scheduled for the end of June.
