General Assembly of the SWIM Project Held in the Czech Republic

From April 21 to 24, 2026, representatives of Centar kompetencija d.o.o. participated in the second General Assembly of the SWIM project, held in the Czech Republic.

The meeting was hosted by the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU), with activities taking place in Prague and Lednice. The working sessions focused on reviewing the activities carried out so far, progress across work packages, and presenting the current status of pilot and reference areas within the project.

Representatives of CEKOM presented the reference area RS 4.3, located in Vukovar-Srijem County. Within the SWIM project, this area serves as a basis for exploring the possibilities of replicating knowledge, experience, and solutions developed in other reference areas to our county.

The second part of the program took place in Lednice, where a visit to a pilot area in the Czech Republic was organized for project partners.

The SWIM project focuses on the sustainable management of migratory fish species and their habitats in the Danube River basin and the northwestern Black Sea region.
