As part of the REBIOFORESTS project, on November 26, 2025, a national workshop dedicated to strengthening the climate resilience of forest ecosystems will be held at the Biological Education Center Otočki Virovi.
During the workshop, the results of the project so far will be presented, experiences from the study trip to Bilbao will be shared, and innovative solutions and pilot locations for the restoration of forest ecosystems will be presented. The event brings together experts and everyone interested in sustainable forest restoration and the exchange of knowledge in the field of forestry and climate resilience.
Through such activities, the REBIOFORESTS project contributes to strengthening capacities for the prevention and mitigation of the consequences of climate change in forests, the application of advanced methods for the assessment and demonstration of solutions for the restoration of ecosystems, and the connection of experts and organizations at the national and international levels.
