"Wood-Technology Centre Slavonian Oak" is an innovation infrastructure project that was unanimously adopted by the Partnership Council of Vukovar-Srijem County as a strategic project of Vukovar-Srijem County.

The Wood-Technology centre is equipped with top equipment for the needs of our wood sector (3D design, equipment for preparing, processing and testing the quality of wood, etc.) which will be available to our small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the wood sector, small sawmills, carpentry and crafts , the unemployed, start-ups in the wood sector, pupils, students, professors, scientists, researchers and innovators, as well as all other stakeholders in the value chain of forestry and the wood industry.

The goal of the project is to strengthen the competitiveness and balance of regional development through the development of regional infrastructure, horizontal and/or vertical integration of the value chain of the wood sector in the area of the bioeconomy for the area of Vukovar-Srijem County.
